Insidious 3 (2015)…

Star Wars ‘The Force Awakens’ 2nd Trailer Drops…

I have goosebumps on my goosebumps.


There is so much about the look and style of this film that feels just right. This looks like it could truly be a continuation of the films I fell in love with 3# years ago and set me on a path to the geek side.

‘Animal’ (2014) Horror Movie Review…

This came onto Netflix with a decent enough star rating for us to add it to our watch list. By the time we got around to watching it one date night… it was down to two stars. Oh, the horror that can be a 2 star horror movie… We decided to give it a go…

Animal sets out treading a pretty unoriginal trope, a group of American teenagers head into wild woods on a hike and find that something is lurking among the trees. There’s even a cabin in them there woods.

So… did it hike away from the well-beaten track of many a horror before it into brave new territory? Was it a 2 star horror?

Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) Review…

After finally kicking my hacking cough I managed to get to see this at the cinema without having to worry about ruining the film for everyone.

‘Kingsman’ follows Gary ‘Eggsy’ Unwin, a council estate lad played by Taron Egerton, recruited into a secret service organisation, and his training and struggle to be accepted within their elitist ranks while a global threat unfolds around them.

A homage to the 60s ‘James Bond’ films and ‘The Avengers’ series with it’s gentleman spy action armed with lethal gadgets, cut through with the humour and fantasy action styling of ‘Kick-Ass’. What’s not to like about that?! Well, I’ll tell you…

‘The Changeling’ is a 1980 horror film about a composer who has lost his wife and child in a tragedy. Hiring a very large house for one person–which anyone who has ever been to the cinema would suspect is haunted to the rafters and not the best choice for a man with his own ghosts to deal with.
